These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PortalWP, a WordPress plugin developed and operated by GetInfoToYou ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible at portalwp.getinfotoyou.com.
By installing, activating, or purchasing PortalWP, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the plugin. For questions, contact hello@portalwp.getinfotoyou.com.
1. Description of Service
PortalWP is a WordPress plugin that enables you to create a branded client portal on your WordPress website. Features include secure file sharing, invoice generation and payment collection, contract creation with e-signatures, project tracking, async messaging, and an AI assistant (Pro plan).
PortalWP is sold as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) license. You install the plugin on your own WordPress hosting — your data never passes through our servers (except for license verification checks).
2. License Grant
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PortalWP on the number of WordPress sites specified by your plan:
- Starter plan: 1 WordPress site installation
- Agency plan: 1 WordPress site installation, unlimited client portals
- Pro plan: Up to 5 WordPress site installations
You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, or distribute the plugin or your license key to third parties. You may not use PortalWP to build a competing product or service.
3. Account Registration
To purchase PortalWP, you must provide your name and a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your license key. Do not share your license key publicly. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@portalwp.getinfotoyou.com.
4. Free Trial
We offer a 14-day free trial of PortalWP with no credit card required. During the trial you have full access to all features of the plan you selected. At the end of the trial period, the plugin will enter a read-only mode unless you purchase a paid plan.
We reserve the right to modify trial terms or duration at any time.
5. Payment Terms
PortalWP plans are available on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Prices are listed on our pricing page in INR and USD.
- Monthly plans are billed every 30 days from your purchase date.
- Annual plans are billed once per year and offer approximately 33% savings versus monthly.
- All prices exclude applicable taxes (GST for Indian customers).
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay (India) or Stripe (global). We do not store your payment card details.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with PortalWP for any reason within 30 days of your first payment, contact us at hello@portalwp.getinfotoyou.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
- Refunds apply to the most recent payment only.
- Refunds are not available after 30 days from the original purchase date.
- Refunds for annual plans are prorated if requested within 30 days.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use PortalWP only for lawful purposes. You must not use PortalWP to:
- Store, transmit, or share illegal content of any kind.
- Harass, threaten, or defraud your clients or third parties.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the plugin beyond what is permitted by its open-source license (GPL v2 for the free version).
- Circumvent license key validation, clone a license, or use a single license on more sites than permitted by your plan.
- Collect payments without proper disclosure to your clients (invoices must accurately describe services rendered).
We reserve the right to revoke your license without refund if these terms are violated.
8. Intellectual Property
PortalWP (including its code, design, documentation, and branding) is owned by GetInfoToYou and protected by copyright law. The free version of PortalWP is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPL). The premium features (invoicing, payments, contracts, AI, white-label) are proprietary and may not be redistributed.
"PortalWP", the PortalWP logo, and associated trademarks are property of GetInfoToYou. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
9. Your Data
All data created through the PortalWP plugin — including client records, files, invoices, contracts, and messages — is stored on your own WordPress server. You own this data. We have no access to it.
You are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR or India's DPDPA) in your use of PortalWP, including obtaining appropriate consent from your clients for data processing.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GetInfoToYou shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or business — arising from your use of or inability to use PortalWP.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
PortalWP is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the plugin will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting hello@portalwp.getinfotoyou.com. Your license remains active until the end of the current billing period.
We may terminate your license immediately if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the plugin ceases, but all data on your WordPress server remains yours.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If you are located outside India, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PortalWP after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
